#Virtualbox extension pack password
When I enter the password, I'm prompted one more time for the password despite typing it correctly.
#Virtualbox extension pack windows
Not sure what is happening, I have the latest virtualbox (6.1.10) and the extensions are 6.1.12 (but I also tried it with 6.1.10).Īlso when I try and open the VB file, like 3-4 virtualbox windows open (all these windows are just from VB file open, VB was closed previously):
#Virtualbox extension pack install
Sudo: /usr/lib/virtualbox/VBo圎xtPackHelperApp -stdout /tmp/VBo圎xtPackHelper-gusdat/stdout -stderr /tmp/VBo圎xtPackHelper-gusdat/stderr -elevated install -base-dir /usr/lib/virtualbox/ExtensionPacks -cert-dir /usr/share/virtualbox/ExtPackCertificates -name 'Oracle VM VirtualBox Extension Pack' -tarball /home/sarah/Desktop/Oracle_VM_VirtualBox_Extension_Pack-6.1.12.vbox-extpack -sha-256 8c43fc6ab19fc83ed3c73c6e62f7f02886503cc800d27198e8bee89586b18eda: command not found.
#Virtualbox extension pack code
I click the VM extension file and Virtualbox opens up, but the installation fails for some reason: The installer failed with exit code 1: password for sarah: sudo: /usr/lib/virtualbox/VBo圎xtPackHelperApp -stdout /tmp/VBo圎xtPackHelper-gusdat/stdout -stderr /tmp/VBo圎xtPackHelper-gusdat/stderr -elevated install -base-dir /usr/lib/virtualbox/ExtensionPacks -cert-dir /usr/share/virtualbox/ExtPackCertificates -name 'Oracle VM VirtualBox Extension Pack' -tarball /home/sarah/Desktop/Oracle_VM_VirtualBox_Extension_Pack-6.1.12.vbox-extpack -sha-256 8c43fc6ab19fc83ed3c73c6e62f7f02886503cc800d27198e8bee89586b18eda: command not found I just downloaded the extension pack which enables USB 2.0+ usage, but I can't seem to install it.
